France are the two-time World cup champions, so it’s only right I do a blog post about my past time travels on the capital of France, Paris. I will talk about the 5 best places to visit around Paris, where to Shop and where to eat and a little overview of Disneyland Paris.

In no particular order, here is my guide to the 5 best places to visit in Paris, France:

1.  Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe

Situated at the Place de l’ Etoile, overlooking the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe is the biggest arch in the world.

2. Champs-Elysees

Take a stroll down the most famous street of Paris, the Champs-Elysees. It has great variety of shops, boutiques and there are plenty of restaurants around. So, if you get peckish. It’s the right place to be! Oh and i forgot to mention the view of the Arc was amazing, especially during sunset. If you get tired stop for an ice cream break and enjoy the people watching.

You can find a variety of luxury shopping places here. For high end, if you balling like footballer, then the best place will be Triangle d’Or. You can find your Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Sephora and more. Châtelet or Les Halles, this is where you find you high street clothing, shops like Zara, GAP to H&M and others.

3. Eiffel tower

I’ve always wanted to go to the famous eiffel tower; which weighs at 10,100 tons of steel and one of the oldest monuments in Europe. When I first saw the tower I had to climb to the top. First floor, I was surprised when I saw the shops and a restaurant on the second floor. Then climbing the stairs to go to the third floor, it was so refreshing and the views were amazing. 100% worth the visit you don’t need to book online can buy tickets at the bottom of the tower.

4. Musée du Louvre

The world famous museum with lot’s famous painting inside and known to have lot’s of French history, with great architecture within it’s surroundings. I preferred the views and took lots of selfies which I’ve lost. So here is a youtube video by Jean-Luc Ichard which explorers the area nicely.

5. Disneyland Paris

I had to go Disneyland Paris, it’s every kids dream, since I never went as a kid, I went as an adult and enjoyed it just as much. Disneyland Paris has lot’s of things to do:

  • Disneyland hotel
  • DisneyLand park
  • Disney’s hotel NewYork
  • Walt Disney studios park
  • Lot’s of shows and attractions around the park

Prices may vary and here is the on going package offer.

Accommodation:

My go to websites to look for places to stay are booking.com (also check hotel’s own website sometime it’s cheaper). airbnb.com or skyscanner for flights. Sometimes Groupon always have good offers to Paris usually during none peak time. Holiday pirate for last minute bookings.

Getting around:

I used the local metro, the bus or Uber to get around and to go Disney land just use RER ( Paris Train service).

Food:

Loved the French breakfast the pastry and amazing expresso’s. For food, there are so many kebab and fast-food in Paris that were tasty and serve decent halal food. I recommend are from Zilzarlife blog and halalgems.com for a selection of food places to visit.

Useful Resources:

Some of these might be in french but don’t worry you can use google translate to switch it to English.
